Eric Lindros was born in 1973 in London, Ontario. He stands 6'4" tall and he weighs in at 236 pounds. In 1991 he won the Canada Cup Tourney. He was later drafted by the Quebec Nordiques but demanded to be traded the very next day. He was traded in 1992 to the Philadelphia Flyers 1992 in exchange for Ron Hextall, Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, Mike Ricci, Peter Forsberg, Chris Simon, the Flyers' first round draft pick in the 1993 (Jocelyn Thibault) and 1994 NHL Entry Drafts and $15 million. He was named the captain of the Flyers in 1994. Eric has since had 6 concussions and a collapsed lung. Eric began skating at the age of two and started playing hockey at age five. He was a very hyper kid and his parents thought hockey would keep him occupied

Today, he is the fifth fastest to reach 500 points in NHL history (in 352 games; Gretzky - 234 games, Lemieux - 287 games, Peter Stastny - 322 games and Bossy - 349 games). He won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's Most Valuable Player and the Lester B. Pearson Award as the outstanding player in the NHL, as voted by the players, for the 1994-95 season.
